The on-line activation process will prompt you for additional information to complete the institutional activation process.

Will I receive a password?
Yes, when you complete the activation process, you will receive a user name and password. You are the only one licensed to use this password. Please do not share it with anyone.

What if I forget my password?
There are instructions for what to do if you forget your user name or your password at www.jamia.org/subscriptions.

How can I tell if my institution has subscribed?
If your institution has a paper subscription, it will be eligible to have an electronic version of the journal as well. In so doing, you will automatically have access to the tables of contents, abstracts, full-text searching, full text display, PDFs, Medline, and GenBank links, and future tables of contents. You will also see a button a the top of the page confirming you are signed in as part of an institution.

How can I access JAMIA On-line if I am not an AMIA member and I do not have access through an Institutional subscription?
Apply for AMIA membership or you may wish to purchase an individual (nonmember) print subscription which provides access to the electronic version. Without a subscription you have access to tables of contents, abstracts, and full text searching (without full text viewing) at no cost and without having to register.
