ACMI 2004 Symposium

ACMI 2004 Symposium
February 12 - 15, 2004
Paradise Point Resort and Spa
San Diego, California

"Goal: Define a Workable Strategy to Stimulate Widespread Adoption of Electronic Health Records in the United States"

In the context of exploring the above theme, the following questions on the status of the EHR were addressed in three sessions from February 13 to 15, 2004.

At the meeting, presenters familiar with the EHR field provided insightful background and perspectives on many of the issues raised by the questions of each day.

The bold goal of this symposium is to produce an ACMI position that defines a strategy that will contribute significantly toward the widespread adoption of EHRs in the U.S.

This meeting was potentially one of the most important and productive ACMI Symposia ever.
